What stays on your device

Your medications, schedules, check-ins, notes and refill details are stored only on your iPhone, and on your Apple Watch if you use it. We don't run servers that store them, and we don't have a copy.

Label scanning

Labels are read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition and, on devices that support it, Apple Intelligence running on the device. Nothing is sent to a cloud service. The photo and the text read from it are not saved; only the details you confirm are kept.

Family check-ins (optional)

Family check-ins are off until you invite someone. When you do, Dayring keeps a check-in summary in your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit sharing, so the people you invite can see it. The summary contains:

• the name you choose to be shown as, and your time zone;
• your time slot names and times, such as “Morning, 8:00 AM”;
• whether and when each time slot was checked in, for the last 7 days and the next 2.

It never includes what you take, amounts, notes, or anything you skipped. Only people you invite can see it, and they can't change it. Its contents are stored in encrypted fields, and we can't read it. Stopping sharing deletes the summary from iCloud. If you follow someone, Dayring keeps a copy of their summary on your phone, and you can stop following at any time.

Health readings (optional)

With Plus, you can choose readings from Apple Health, such as blood pressure, to show next to your check-ins and in visit reports. Dayring only reads them, with your permission, and only the kinds you turn on. It never changes your Health data, never shares readings with family, and never sends them anywhere.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation that you have Plus, not your payment details.

What we never do

No ads, no analytics, no third-party trackers, and no selling or sharing your information.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and loads nothing from other websites. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the site.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its data from your phone. Copies may remain in your iPhone backups until those backups are replaced. If you share check-ins with family, stop sharing in Settings, then Family check-ins, before deleting the app; that deletes the summary from iCloud.

The app reminds and records. It does not recommend what or how much to take. Always follow your prescriber and pharmacist.

Family check-ins are not an emergency service

Family check-ins and their alerts depend on both phones being online and on Apple's services. Alerts can be delayed, can arrive even though a check-in happened, or may not arrive at all. Don't rely on them in an emergency.

Plus subscriptions and trials

Plus renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Free features keep working if you cancel.

Lifetime purchase

Lifetime is a one-time purchase of Plus for the Apple Account that bought it. Restore it on your other devices from Settings, then Restore purchases.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and note the date at the top.
