Common questions
Where is my information stored?
On your phone. There is no account and no server copy, and label scans are read on your device. If you share check-ins with family, a summary of your check-ins (never what you take) is kept in your own iCloud so they can see it.
How do family check-ins work?
With Plus, you can invite up to five people to see whether you've checked in: your time slots and check-in times, never what you take. Family members follow along free and can choose to be alerted if a check-in doesn't happen. You can stop sharing at any time in Settings, then Family check-ins.
How do I cancel Plus?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Your reminders and check-ins keep working after you cancel.
I bought Plus on another device. How do I restore it?
In the app, open Settings, then Plus, then Restore purchases.
I got a new phone. How do I move my data?
Your Dayring data moves with your iPhone when you set up the new phone with Quick Start or from an iCloud or computer backup. You can also export your full history as a spreadsheet from Settings, then History.
A scanned label came out wrong. What should I do?
Tap any line on the confirmation screen to fix it before saving. Nothing is scheduled until you confirm.
Can the app tell me what or how much to take?
No. It reminds and records only. Always follow your prescriber and pharmacist.
